Maintenance of law and order priority: Home Minister Sucharita
Amaravati: The second day of the collectors conference has begun at Praja Vedika in Undavalli on Tuesday. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to review with the officials of various departments. 

Home Minister M Sucharita giving the department report said the government would recruit 4000 police personnel to strengthen the police department and added that the top priority will be given for maintenance of law and order, protection of weaker sections, Minorities and vulnerable sections in the state.

She said the crime against women would be dealt very strictly and announced that mobile teams will be set up in the state to check crime against the women. DGP Guatam Sawang has said the crime against women, cyber crime, road accidents are cause of concern in the state and utmost priority will be given to it. 

He said the state suffered infrastructure loss due to the bifurcation of the state and underlined the need to develop training facilities to the police personnel to meet the challenges. He said the cyber crime is increasing in some parts of the state and the department has to equip to meet the needs.
